They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. How does that translate
into dollars and cents? Those who will be attending the upcoming fundraising
art auction by Marlin Art of New York to benefit the St. James Scholarship
Fund will find out. The collection of works will include watercolors, oils,
and lithographs. Works of LeRoy Neiman, Chagall, Tarkay, Rockwell, Kinkade
and many other fine artists will be on display. We will have something for
everyone’s taste and price range. All painting are framed and matted.
Join the Community Life Committee for a night of fun and socializing on
Saturday, September 25. The auction will begin at 8:00 PM, with a preview at
7:00 PM. Complementary wine and cheese, coffee and cake will
be served. Donation is $10/pp.

Pasta Dinner
On Saturday, November 16, 2002, the Community Life Committee of the St. James Parish Council held
its 8th Annual Pasta Dinner. In addition to the always delicious food prepared by the committee,
the festivities were enhanced by a troupe of traditional Italian dancers.
The evening received rave
reviews all around!
