Friends In Spiritual Harmony

What is the F.I.S.H.? F.I.S.H. Stands for Friends in Spiritual Harmony - this is the name of our teen peer leaders team here at St James.

What is a Peer Leader?

Good Role Model for other teens in the parish
Some one who is willing to share gifts, time and talents with others
Attends church regularly

Who can become a F.I.S.H.? - Any Teen who has made their confirmation that would like to minister to teens in the parish. Two written recommendations from adults plus one from a parent are needed also.

What would my responsibilities be?

Complete application form
Complete an interview
Attend a Peer leader training workshop
Attend F.I.S.H meetings to be determined at workshop
Help coordinate and facilitate youth group meetings
Assist with teen retreats
Help plan activities and community service projects

How long is my commitment?- One Year- (June -June) -renewable
