    LENTEN SERIES
        February 20, 27 and March 5 at 7:00PM in the Day Chapel
            "Through Death to Life" with Deacon Robert M. Pallotti, D.Min.
                  This series will explore the mystery of death as a portal to new
                  life in Christ. We will examine the Near-Death Experience, its effects,
                  and how it compares to the Christian understanding of the Cross and
                  Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We will also discuss what all this
                  means for Christian living.

    Church Regulations on Fast and Abstinence
    Abstinence from meat is observed on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and all Fridays of Lent by all Catholics 14 years of age and older.
    All Catholics 18 years of age but not yet 59 observe fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
    One may take only one full meal. Two smaller meals are permitted to maintain strength according to ones needs. The eating of solid food between meals is not permitted.
